Dr. Varun Shelke is experienced in damage control orthopaedics, a strategy used to stabilize fractures quickly with external fixators while the patient's overall physiology recovers. Once stable, definitive surgeries using advanced nailing and plating techniques are performed to reconstruct fractured bones.
